Enable next-generation manufacturing
Infor SyteLine® is a robust enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that’s geared toward the needs of discrete manufacturers in industries such as automotive, aerospace and defense, industrial manufacturing, and high tech.
It has been specifically designed with built-in best practices and highly efficient process flows to help manufacturers improve productivity. This solution covers all the major functions required by a manufacturing operation, from product development, through budgeting and planning, through manufacturing, marketing, sales, HR, procurement and distribution. Infor SyteLine is mobile friendly; users can operate the full solution via a tablet.
Make a positive impact
Students and professors at business and information technology schools can gain real world, hands-on experience with software that’s helping manufacturers improve productivity and efficiency. By emphasizing the value of learning across disciplines, the program will help students gain a competitive edge as they pursue career opportunities, and provide an experiential understanding of the interaction between various departments—how IT supports business management, and how business needs define IT projects, for example—so they can be best prepared for potential employers.
Students with a strong background in industrial manufacturing, business, finance, or engineering can gain in-depth exposure to the latest in application connectivity, business process workflow, social collaboration, contextual business intelligence, and mobile applications. They’ll also learn about the collaborative power that departments can achieve when they work together cohesively.

The continues reality to is evolve manufacturing
with other industries. Many of today’s workers have tech- savvy jobs that ask them to use software in ways involving modeling products with 3D visualization tools, mining big data with analytics, and automating assembly with robotics. From procurement to design, building, delivery, and service, there’s considerable opportunity--not to mention massive room for growth--at some of the world’s largest companies.”
